I believe so. In any case I would not recommend buying another if yours has a problem.

The alternator used by TVR is a good one and can be economically repaired by anyone with a modicum of technical ability.

It is probably a Lucas/Magnetti Marelli unit that were actuall rather good units.

There is a company in Harlow Essex that supplies repair kits for these for not a lot of money.
