Suzuki Swift Sport (2012 face lift) thoughts

Hi, does anyone have any experience of the above car? Thinking of getting one for a while as a temp 2nd car when the lease on our i3 ends in March, we do want another EV but want to wait until more small city car types are available (thinking the VW triplets etc) used.

The motoring press seem to love them and it seems you can pick one up for between 4.5 to 5.5k with decent mileage etc, they do seem a fun little car and come with plenty of kit (apart from modern in car entertainment which is easily fixed with a double din adaptor and a Carplay\Android Auto compatible head unit).

Am thinking we could run one for a year, not putting many miles on it and then sell it on with little loss.

Just a great fun car, the main benefit of the 2012 model (which was not a facelift but a whole new car) is the 6 speed gearbox as motorway was fairly hard work with the old five speed.
It also rides surprisingly well for a small warm hatch and handles very nicely.

I currently own a 2013 Swift Sport. I find it great, admittedly mine is a track car with cage etc but I drive it and have done a few times around Europe, to all track days and even to work when I was waiting on my new car to be delivered.

Great on fuel, comfy even in my state of build & has everything I need. Really fun cars on the twisties, sometimes a bit gutless but keep it revving and its great.

Thanks guys, sounds like a good car and could be fun to have around for a bit, if we get attached to it could maybe chop the Polo GTi in for a PHEV SUV!
