I’ve moved house and no longer have a garage frown I do however have a large car port.

Buy a bike cover? Or better without given it won’t get rained on? Concerned that they’ll trap moisture and flap about in the wind scratching paint?

It’s set back from the road and I don’t live near a city so not too concerned about hiding from view etc. It’s just what’s best for storage?

You've answered it yourself, no cover no condensation.

Bike tent. I got one last year and it has been great.
Easy to get bike into and out of and stays dry and steady in even the worst of weather.
Think I paid around £110 for mine.

Can you get the tents in different sizes?

Just I had a ridehide version which, while great in principle, was a pain to use to with an MT09 because of the high mirrors. I'd have to move them every time in and out and readjust afterwards. Most annoying.

I got a refund after 18 months because the black material faded in the end anyway.

Yes they come in different sizes, I got a large/x large size to fit a mt09 tracer into and had no problems with it, But changed bikes to a fazer 1000 and can even put that in the tent backwards and have the tent close np.

I have a grey colour and it has not faded as yet but does need cleaned every 4-6 weeks to keep the green mould from appearing.

A good cover will prevent against condensation. JDC do good covers.

If it won't get rained on and you aren't looking to deter theft, then a cover or anything else seems a bit pointless. Unless OP wants to build a bike port in his car port.

(Xzibit) I Heard you like ports etc (/Xzibit).

Thanks for replies. Decided to get a cover in the end. Understand the ‘seems a little pointless’ thoughts, as had them myself. However, figured it’ll still keep the dust, bird crap, sunlight off. Will see how it goes...
