My partner and her dad had a flight with them a couple of years ago and loved it.

(I quite fancy it as a retirement job too)

A few years ago,I took my father in law on this for his eightieth and we both loved it, then because my mum was envious, took her too later in the year. She loved it too.
I've been back several times more every time I can think of an excuse (big birthdays, overseas visitors etc). I haven't taken anyone who didn't end the trip with a big grin and been absolutely buzzing. It's really put me in the mood to learn to fly myself.

Same here, recommended! Me & eldest loved it, wife & youngest not so much, as, for weight distribution, they were at the bck & it was a bit choppy...

It would be great if they had a few Beavers.

Did it a few years ago, highly recommended. I managed to get a seat next to the pilot.

hehe

Many years ago, the ex and I stayed on a remote small island resort in Fiji, and the only way there was by speedboat or seaplane/helo. We had prebooked the seaplane flight (Turtle Airways) as their website showed the used Beaver seaplanes, but when we got to the sea plane jetty, it was a ghastly modern Cessna thing instead frown Still fun trip though, certainly knew about the landing in the sea when its a bit choppy!!

I know that they have re-introduced beavers into Scotland a few years ago - so it would be fitting if they could get a few of De Havilliand Canada's version to Scotland.
