There are two 40A fuses, each behind a black plastic cover, on top of the normal rows of fuses. Check the lower of these two fuses first.

Yep - two big sod off ones above the row of "normal" fuses.

If it has blown, then please remember to check for obstructions in the fans as clearly the fuse shouldn't blow under normal circumstances.

If it has gone, and you replace it and it goes again, whatever you do get it checked out - 40A going the wrong way can easily create a fire....

scary

I think it's something to do with the recent fiddling about under there with the stereo. I'm expecting to find a fuse unseated.

Talking of the wrong way - I heard about a noble that someone jump started the wrong way round i.e. not connected the jump leads the right way round - and fried the wiring loom - not cheap!

Owen, a thought - do they both spin freely (if not they are seized)?

Ah - I'm not making myself clear
I'm meaning the fans in the heater/air con, not the front hovercraft jobbies !
The green Aircon light comes on and off but the fan is dead !
Have just spoken to the factory, who have given me something to try !!

Ah!

Could be a stone stuck in it - I had that. Moley fixed it for £60 for me - no idea what they did sorry.
