I want to make some site hoardings look good, but have had huge quotes.

Does anyone know if there is something clever that could be done with vinyl wrap that would be cost effective and, if so, what the rough cost might be per square metre?

Near my office within Liverpool's Tapestry Building (DoES Liverpool - Geek Mecca! smile ) there's lots of site hoardings due to the amount of new student accom that's going up - lots of it has been used by street artists in conjunction with the owners and looks great. We're not talking random graffiti here but 'proper' murals & art works. Ticks a box for community interaction too! smile

This one is a bit graffiti-ish but couldn't find a Google images of ones on hoardings, most of them are on the buildings around there. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&source=image... which shows the sort of quality.

Might be worth trying to get in touch with some of the local artist collectives & studios.

Quality, not quantity.

Makes a refreshing change to see this on a site where so many simply post sh*te that has zero relevance to the OP smile
