Unplug your C drive on the back will be some jumpers with a little black jumper connector on two of them (vertically) above which on the casing it will say master. Move the little black jumper onto the 2 connectors below the bit that says slave. Do the opposite for the other one and connect them back up (the D drive connected where your C drive was and C drive where your D drive was)
If there isn't anything on the case of the drive to say whats settings are the master and slave you need to find your drive on the web for diagrams of what settings are master and what are slave. >> Edited by FourWheelDrift on Tuesday 7th June 15:55

Easy peasy. Look on the back of the drive(s) and there should be a row of small "jumper" switches, usually marked "MA", "SL", "CS"
If both drives are set to CS (Cable select) then simply unplug the IDE cable from both and plug it back in with the opposite plugs.
If one drive is MA and the other SL, leave the cable alone and switch the MA drive to SL and vice versa.

Basically it's not possible within Windows to resize two active partitions (your C and D drives) and keep their data.
If you want to merge C and D the easiest option is to reinstall Windows, and ask it to format the disk. Just ensure you have backed everything up beforehand as you will lose it otherwise!
You can buy some third party software to resize the partitions, but I never trust that sort of thing to get the job right after one screwup in the past, so end up backing up anyway - might as well reinstall it!
Windows should happily run in a 4GB drive, just make sure you put all your programs and data onto the D: drive (reinstall them if necessary, and maybe tell Windows to put the swap file on the D: drive instead - if it's coming up with memory issues - do this from Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance Settings/Advanced/Change/set C to 0 and D to whatever C was set to)
