How to block / protect child iphone use

My missus has just gone mad at me as I have no method (she has just found out) of controlling / monitoring our daughters iPhone usage. Is there anything I can do? Install?

She has whatsapp and honestly gets hundreds (thousands?) of messages on the various groups (all school age stuff eg KidsofY7, schools-sucks or whatever)

If her iCloud account is set as a child in your family group you’ll get usage reports.

If you have an iPad you could also install messaging for WhatsApp and grant it WhatsApp web access which will mirror her phone

With a childs iCloud account you can setup parental control / contrent restrictions on the iPhone.

Last year I caught my daughter (11 year old) watching/accessing very inapropriate content - I enabled the content restrictions and this is now impossible. I also explained to her that if I caught her accessing any more dodgy material her iPhone would be set so that she could only access sites I had approved..

Its as much her fault/problem as yours.
