Ticketmaster - Refund?

On Wednesday I purchased tickets to a gig on Ticketmaster. Not great seats, but they were the only ones left. Now the band have added an extra date with better seats now available.

I paid on a credit card, am I able to cancel and buy tickets for the extra date with limited penalties?

Ticketmaster does operate a fan-to-fan resale service in case you are not able to return direct to Ticketmaster.
