Casual 'Track Shoe' option's

Hi,

I'm trying to improve my heel/toe and general driving technique. This is currently on the deserted back roads where I live wearing normal 'trainers'.

Obviously, the type of show I wear has a big effect and currently my Adidas 3 strips are the closest thing I have to 'track shoes' with a thin sole.

They make my feet sweat though. What are the options for good breathable 'track shoes' that won't make me look like a total Senna wannabe when I get out of my Porsche to get petrol etc.

What type of socks are you wearing? I can't help wonder that it's your socks rather than the trainers.

Thin cotton socks, if you're not already wearing them.

Some cheapo Converse All Star Type thing will probably do a good job
