So looks like I’ve got a bike to rebuild over winter. No clue where to start but the engine looks pretty simple? Anyone on here have any experience as this is my first old mans bike smile

Yes, I do. Which T100 is it? Year, model?

Ah cool. It’s 1967 I think. I’ll know more when I get it back. It needs the cases welding and has already had a head repair, but I think they all crack anyway?

No expert but I have a 67 Daytona that one day I'll get round to rebuilding.

I'll pay attention and hope to learn something!

From memory the 67 engine has the plain bush in the crank timing side. "Some say" this is better upgraded to the later ball bearing. SRM used to do a conversion. Doubt it's needed for how many miles most do these days.

My head was cracked too.
