To GT3.2 OR Not
Discussion
It will be cheaper now than in the Spring peak buying season especially if the 992 isn't launched at Geneva 2020 which now looks likely.
992 also likely to be way more expensive than the £111k 991.2 which will support 991.2 residuals.
Market could also strengthen for the 991.2 as the last of the line proper sounding pre GPF cars fugly rear end and interior not to everyone's taste of the 992.
Keeping mine despite offers of a future 992 slot as are at least 4 others on PH, which is quite telling.
Having owned most recent Porsche GTs I would concur with Demon and consider this car is without doubt the sweet spot. And not just because of the fantastic engine.
A truly brilliant package and not many cars could replace it imo.

Thanks chaps. Having Owned a few PDK 3RS and falling out of love with them in a short period I really enjoy the GT4 with Manuel, so presume the Manuel GT3 would be the same experience.. the Car does need some slight TLC to my liking but that’s the easy part..
I thought my GT4 was going to be my end game car, but it was flawed in 5 major areas for me.The 991.2 manual GT3 fixes all 5 for me and only adds one negative, cost !!! It’s quite an expensive car really even if nothing else can get close, it still ties up a big amount of £££.
So if you like the GT4 a GT3 in Manual is a far better car, it,s not the same experience, it’s a far better one.

Oh forget to say... one gripe I found with the .2GT3 was the pedals are quite close together! So my size 11’s struggle to get to the footrest! Does anyone else notice that?

Thanks for your opinion. It’s what I wanted to hear with all honesty, GT4 as a package is super, length of gear change was my only gripe. I am holding off the purchase I suppose due to the fact I saw the car as it came in PX so needs some work to get it back to the condition I buy my cars.

Makes you wonder what people do to them. Oh forget to say... one gripe I found with the .2GT3 was the pedals are quite close together! So my size 11’s struggle to get to the footrest! Does anyone else notice that?
Not noticed pedal spacing , I always want them closer, but only size 8.
I would echo the positive comments here. If you have the chance to get one at a good price don't pass it over. Hard to think of a more exciting car for the money. Indeed, Chris Harris is on his second one and says its hard to beat as a fast exciting road car. Name another nasp manual supercar.
Also, it makes financial good sense. It must be the least depreciating modern car out there

As good as the 991.2GT3 is, since somebody mentioned peak 911, I still think the modern road 911 peaked with the 997.2RS. No RWS, no over snickety gearchange, a car you still properly have to interact with and great at all speeds. IMHO of course.
Interesting point - I completely agree with this, what’s amazing is you’d think the cars would be very similar but they actually feel very different - amazing how much a car can change in just a few years - the manual 991.2 is much easier to drive, more refined - both absolutely brilliant cars. I miss my 997.2 RS but couldn’t really justify keeping both - I’d like to have another one day
