Xmas card from the other side

Had an xmas card from someone that died in February!

Apparently his moonpig account had sufficient credit and no one knew to cancel it until they started landing through letterboxes!

I was slightly alarmed by the “hope to see you early in the new year” comment!

I had a card through my letterbox last Christmas addressed to someone who doesn’t live at my address, nor did I have a clue where they actually lived. I noted at the time that the handwriting looked awfully like that of an aunt of mine who had died that year.

Come January when I was clearing up the post, I decided to open the card, and while it was addressed to a random person, it was signed from someone sharing the same name as my aunt. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t her writing from beyond the grave, as we cleared out everything after she died.
