Hi all, it's years since I played with midi files, but I need some software (mac) to switch some channels around on midi files.

On the app store, there's a load ranging from free to £100. I don't mind paying, but it's not clear on any of them, which ones can edit the channels around.

Has anyone any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Free 30 day trial of ableton 10? https://www.ableton.com/en/trial/
Cubase LE will also do it - I lost count of the number of free discs of this I had bundled with stuff...never used it. Easily gettable.
No trial for logic

Thanks guys. Sweetmidi isn’t compatible with the latest MacOS and GarageBand doesn’t handle exporting of MIDI files well.

I’ll try the Cubase first and see how easy it is to do.

Thanks.

MainStage is pretty good, depending on what it is you're trying to do of course.

Not a Mac expert but any DAW demo version should do it, assuming the trial version lets you export MIDI after you've imported it and edited.
