Why are you on here on Xmas Day?

Shouldn't you be spending time with your family, or is PH an escape from the madness?

My excuse? Wife's running the emergency theatre at the local hospital, as she generally does on Xmas Day. Our Xmas starts at 20.00 tonight, with offspring and grand-offspring descending tomorrow.

In the past I've taken my faithful old hound out for a long walk, but he sadly died earlier this year, so I'll prepping tomorrow's Xmas dinner. Now I feel maudlin!

I'm house sitting 2 dogs over Christmas and New Year so there is little else to do except watch TV and go for walks with the dogs - we've just come back from our second walk of the day
I'm also hoping to video chat online with my brother.

Just me & the mrs at home.No kids, no dog this year as we lost her in September.

SWMBO is enjoying herself in the kitchen preparing lunch and sweet FA worth watching on the box.

At work, 6000 miles from home. Can’t say I’m that bothered to be honest. I still eat too much, get pissed and fall asleep but at least I’m getting paid to do it. Family Christmas in a few days when I get back.

Love Christmas, just had a great breakfast. Got a new 100mhz scope and a rework bench iron. Borderlands 3 is just installing (45GB !!!) in the conservatory so i have a few moments to my self.

Bottle of Corona is at about 30% and the turkey + duck are due out of the oven in an hour

Mum is complaining about modern TV in the living room and dad is doing the gravy.

The two kids at home are in their rooms playing outer worlds

The house is at peace.

For how long before the wife discovers me I dont know

And for first time in years, Im not on shift !!!
