Sister went to Church yesterday evening.
Had her handbag stolen!

Cash, cards, house and car keys, phone, driving licence, Cert of Insurance the lot.
House locks now changed, car locks need to be changed as they have the car reg, all cards cancelled, phone blocked...

I walked past a church yesterday and it seems all the Yorkshire stone that was once the path to the door has been stolen.

While I’m not a religious person, it takes a certain kind of scum bag to prevent people attending their place of worship.

She was sat at the end of a pew, bag on floor, people get up to leave at end of service, bag disappeared when she looked down. Apparently suspicious looking person seen leaving church. Description given to police.
It's the inconvenience as much as anything. Changing locks on house and car, new cards, new phone, lost photos and personal stuff on phone... She's 62, church goer, this has really rattled her.

Some people sneak into places specifically for this. Ie it may not have been a regular church goer, just a common or garden chancer.
