Any chance it's a transport block not removed?
Looks like it. Did a search on this and found https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
How long have you had the car? That’s amazing the opc would have missed that on the pdi. I’d make sure you have the opc put in writing that this wouldn’t have affected any parts of the car given you’ve been driving it. Removing these is essential, your opc has dropped the ball here .
I was wondering how you'd noticed it, I'd presume the car is sitting too high with them in?
I've a 991, l don't think it'd be easy to spot that without a bit of effort at normal height.
I think it's a relatively common mistake, remember my opc checking they'd been removed before a test drive. Told me of a turbo owner complaining of the ride for quite a while - same problem, he was a solicitor!
It wasn't themselves obviously!
Have you done many miles like that? At the very least I'd sting them for checking the geo etc.

Picked it up last Friday. Will speak to them when they open in the morning. ags11 said:

Heard what sounded like a big clang of metal from that wheel. Took a look as was worried about a broken spring or something. Have you done many miles like that? At the very least I'd sting them for checking the geo etc.
Done 200 miles.
What exactly does an OPC do when selling a car?
It's a big orange thing they've be removed 100's of times before.
Wow...if I was Sales Manager I'd be making a point of walking around each car and looking into the wheel wells for orange bits. Waiting for a customer to hear a loud chunk is unacceptable
