Will a hd ready smart tv show hd netflix

Hi all I'm in the market for a tv for the dining/toy room looking for a 32" smart. Wondering if a hd ready set will show netflix or prime in hd. Or would I need to get a full hd set?

HD ready and HD are the same thing?

I think it would be hard to get a TV that does not do HD. e.g your are good.

I always thought HD Ready was 720p, whereas Full HD is 1080p in resolution.
Either way both should show High Definition channels through their Smart Apps, but the Full HD TV will show a slightly higher resolution.

Not true. I was quite surprised to find some 720P HD ready sets still being sold.



To the OP I'd suggest stretching to a full HD 1080P set if possible.
