Rusty cam cover nut/bolt V8V

Anyone else experienced this on their V8V ? The bolts seem to be pretty long, for what reason I'm not sure, however, in my quest to tidy up anything that looks a little incongrous I was going to replace them.

Are they all this long or just the ones at the front ? Can't post a pic as I'm back at work.

Now found the parts diagram and have identified the bits I need - now off to HWM Parts !
