F10 M5 Tracker

I've just purchased a new (to me) F10 M5, does anyone know the easiest way to find out if it has a tracker, so that I can renew? I presume if there's a third party one fitted I'd never know?

I think the only way to find out would be to contact the previous owners.

If you ring the various tracking companies they will tell you. No more detail, just explain you bought it and they will say yes or no. I've done it on 2 cars, one I got told yes it had and the other no it hadn't

The main players are able to be found on Google.

Work related admittedly but I made a call and found an RS4 had three trackers on it from previous owners !! Two of those previous owners had wasted money putting a new tracker on when one had already been fitted !!

As others have said, a call to the previous owner or ring around tracker companies should tell you.

There are some telltale signs depending on who has done the install, but nothing you'd spot without removing trim. I had a tracker fitted to my F10, and it was pretty well buried.
