Who doesn’t wear a coat?

Been called out on this by two random strangers recently, one said I was “dressed for a summers day” and the other “I feel cold just looking at you”, so I thought I’d ask the PH massive.
If I’m outside washing the car or walking up a mountain on a winter’s day, then of course I’ll be dressed appropriately, but if I’m doing a bit of shopping in the city centre and it’s 5°C then I’ll stick to a T-shirt and jeans.
I didn’t plan badly and I’m not macho, I just don’t wear a coat when driving, shops are always roasting hot, and it’s too much hassle to take the coat off and carry it around as I browse the stores. I’d rather be cold for a few minutes between walking from the car to the shops and in-between, than the opposite.
Anyone else?

Same here. Everybody takes the piss out of me on the occasions when I do get cold, but on balance I’d rather be unencumbered by bulky outerwear even if it means being a bit chilly from time to time.
I find the suggestion that this is somehow a ‘macho’ trait curious considering what the women are wearing when they are out on the town!

I'm always hot. I have an idea that it's to do with higher levels of cholesterol production and can be a sign of heart disease.I prefer a sweater and/or a thin jacket.
The problem I find with coats are that they're nice and warm for about 20% of your evening, but the remaining 80% requires you to either find somewhere to store it, or complain that you're too hot.
Like most people, I wear a coat when going out for a drink. Or when I'm driving somewhere. When I'm in the car, I don't need a coat when it's up to temperature (my Merc's pretty good at getting heat out within about 30 seconds of a cold start). When out for a drink, if I'm getting a cab or lift around I don't need to be outside for too long. If I'm walking, then within a few minutes of a power walk I'm, er, up to temperature myself.

I hardly ever wear a coat. Everyone else will be bundled up in jumpers, cardigans, coats, scarves and complaining that its cold.
At work, bearing in mind the heating is set to 22 degrees centigrade I get the "Are you not cold in just a shirt" and the real p.55 taker "Can we have the heating turned up"?
All the while I am sweating.
No I am not overweight, unfit or otherwise.

I used to always be in just a tshirt. Infact worked in a massive industrial fridge when young and was the only one doing my work in a tshirt. I was sweating working hard, last thing I need is the big jackets provided.
Now I'm in need of loosing a bit of podge, I wear a paper thin jacket. I mean so thin you dont know it's on. You would think a finger would rip it thin.
Although injuries all clear and back to training at my local bball team when it reopens after new year and I'll be back to skinny tshirts in a month or 2.

t, which is correctEven stranger are the men.... it's always men.... who wear a heavy jacket and shorts in cold weather.

The other week a neighbour came out to scrape her car windows after a heavy frost in just a t-shirt and leggings while I had a jacket,gloves and woolly hat on
