Well in two weeks time I'll be the big four-O.

It doesn't phase me as I believe I've got a younger outlook on life than I had ten years ago.

Tell tell signs of my aging status however are...

I'm reminding the kids how we didn't have all their technological luxuries 'when I was a lad'
I'm listening to Radio 2 (even Wogan )
I let out a groan when standing up from sitting down
I go to bed with a mug of Horlicks
I have arthritic twinges in my elbow from time to time
I'm starting to hoard stuff in my shed in the knowledge that 'you never know when that will come in handy'
Beige is quite a pleasant colour!

Ho hum, onwards and upwards.

F**k me mate that's more like 60 not 40

Anyway they say 40 is the new 30 so enjoy it

P.S. Like the subtle "it's my birthday soon" prompt

Hey, watch it ma'am!

Every year they just start to go by faster and faster, kind of like a runaway train on a decreasing radius downhill slope.

Fun ride though, as it gets less scary the more you mature you become.

Did I really use the "M" word?

Hmmm, thanks for reminding me, I'm @ T-15days for that event, still, I really don't feel any different to what I felt at 30 TBH.
