Brief history, car has been laid up for 2 months and he said it started up fine back then.
When you turn the key to start it dash, interior lights stay lit bright, but unusally radio display goes out??
Anyway, wire to the solenoid in the starter is dead, no voltage when key is turned. He was hammering on that there was also no feed to the fuel pump and he never heard it prime, but im sure Mitsu,s have no feed to pump until the car starts, there was a 5v signal on one pump wire and an earth reading on another, nothing on the other two.
Car has two fuel pump relays which i'll check tomorrow.Anyone any ideas what's cutting power to starter motor as car has just been sitting?
Battery is good, jumping the starter motor results in engine turning but no start.
Also code u1100 is showing in my autel ms906,'can time out' under immobilser section so there maybe a wire, module taking down the can network? Thanks.

Clutch switch for starter problem?

Immobiliser for no run

Ring/sensor around key barrel sends signal to immobiliser that then switches on engine control relay which sends supply to engine ECU Pin A107

Engine ECU then sends a negative from Pin 110 to fuel pump relay 2 coil circuit Pin 2, fuel pump relay 2 then supplies the fuel pump

Fuel pump relay 2 won't supply the fuel pump until fuel pump relay 1 is switched on by the ignition switch

Fuel pump relay 1 switches a supply from Pin 4 to fuel pump relay 2 Pin 3

Info taken from a 2006 car

Yes you're on the case

As mentioned above - "immobiliser that then switches on engine control relay which sends supply to engine ECU Pin A107"

Tried to PM you but you don't accept emails

Duckduckgo or Google, search for below
