What colour is your stitching
Discussion
Have owned a 2010 4.7 Vantage for the last 8 years Tungsten with a black interior I have always been curious as the black leather seats have black stitching & not contrasting stitching as I have seen in every other Vantage Red or white stitching against black leather looks a lot better Surely the cost would be same to provide a better finish & wonder black was used
Hi Max, my guess would be that is how the original owner specced the car. When getting a new car specced to your choice you have a choice of colours of stitching and whether you go for course or fine stitching as well. If you remember our V12VR that was Tungsten with a Bitter Chocolate interior that was specced with Bitter Chocolate stitching rather than any contrast because we thought that looked best. However our Flugplatz car that had the Dark Knight interior had California Poppy corse stitching and the AMR which has a Black interior has Speed Yellow corse stitching to maximise the contrast.
All down to the original owner!!

White / silver over black leather. MY2011 V8V Roadster. Still got the original order sheet and the first owner pretty much ticked EVERY option (lucky me) so I haven't actually bothered looking to see if the stitching was an option or standard. Slightly off topic it was an option on my Jag XE - and called Oyster! Despite clearly being white.
My ‘09 Vantage was Black leather with Black Stitching with Black paint, Black calipers etc, black everywhere. The only relief was the tailors grey roof lining, it all looked lovely when fully clean so I can see the appeal. The Rapide is black leather with silver stitch and it does lift the interior, especially with silver logos etc. Only thing is I’m now worried about the silver stitching getting grubby when cleaning, whereas with the black you can just clean away at will..
