Yamaha YSP2200 to LG55OLED9CPLA TV

We have bought a new LG 55 OLED TV and I have been trying to connect my YSP 2200 soundbar to it. On my previous TV the sound bar was connected to the ARC input on the TV and our Sky Box, PS4 was connected to the Sound Bar.

With the LG TV it’s saying I have to connect the Sky Q box directly to the TV in order to for it to display in UHD. The ARC input on the TV is HDMI2. When I connect the sound bar to HDMI2 on the TV and select HDMI2 on the sound bar there is no sound. I have got it to work by selecting TV on the sound bar but it doesn’t seem to be playing in surround (no orange or blue light).

Does anyone know if theres a better way to connect the sound bar or am I doing it right?

Have you selected sound out to HDMI ARC? Mine works fine with Sonos bean & sub

Yes I have selected HDMI ARC on the TV. However when I select the sound bar to HDMI2 (the ARC input on the TV) then there is no sound. The only way I can get sound is to come out of the sound bar is to select TV.
