I've bought my son a Fanatec CSL Elite kit, with steering wheel and pedals.

Steering wheel - great. No problems!

Pedals - pain in the bum. I just can't get the PC to register their presence at all. I've updated the driver and firmware, I've tried a spare cable (and pedals - bought two sets by accident!). I can't think of anything else to try. I've got a loadcell kit with the pedals as well, but I haven't installed that yet because I wanted to try the basic install before I started faffing.

Has anybody else encountered this? If so, how did you fix it? There are various fixes online, but they mostly seem to refer to settings windows that no longer exist...

Can anyone help? I've just spent the entire afternoon mucking around with this and still no go. Lobbing the things into the nearest bin is looking like an attractive option, which gives you an idea of just how fed up I am now! (I wouldn't normally consider effectively setting fire to a pile of fivers...)

Thanks in advance for anything you can do to help - and save what little sanity I have left! beer

The wheel base is plugged into a USB2 port on the PC. I’ve tried several ports, same problem on all of them. The pedals are connected to the base via an RJ12 cable.

I was wondering about that, but there’s no USB/RJ12 connector supplied and the instructions say the pedals are meant to be connected via the base. If I can’t work it out, next job will be to connect the load cell and try a direct USB connection. But I was hoping to make it work without going to all that trouble. smile
