Buying advice for an Elise S1

Hello All,

Am new to the site and the world of Lotus Elises. Am looking for some advice on buying an Elise S1. What do I need to look out for when viewing and what price can I expect for a good one?

I'm in the same boat and made a similar post a few weeks back.

Look for an S1 with suspension upgrade to either S2, LSS or Nitrons. You live and learn.

Check for knocking and free play through the steering wheel.

Also check throttle pedal play, less the better.

Gotta love the little lotus though.
