Water ingress and fast indicators F20

Hi,
Car had been steaming up over night for a while. Problem located, rear passenger footwell is soaked. Its stopped raining now after what feels like 3 months of rain. I think it's the door seal, which I replace shortly.

However, yesterday the indicators have started flashes 2 or 3 times quicker than they should? Why could this be?
Is it related to the water ingress?
I've tried babybmw website and theres nothing on the f20 model I could find only the 1st gen 1 series.

You have a blown indicator bulb.

They always flash faster to tell you this.
