85 on A30 Dual Carriageway

Stupidly I approached a camera van on the above road at an indicated 85. Does anyone know what I am likely to get please? No complaints, fair cop.

Any points already ? Speed awareness courses attended in the last 3 years ?

It was in Nsl area. No course on last 3 years.

Above that would be 3 points & fixed penalty.

Unlikely you'd be deemed fast enough for automatic magistrates summons.

Or, because it would make a bigger difference if the OP was driving a van due to some of them having lower speed limits

Single carriageway West of Camborne exit, dual carriageway East of it.

A 2+1 single carriageway? Equals 60mph both directions, for cars. Classic places for speed cameras, mobile especially.

Yes, many have a double white line on the single downhill stretch, but not all do. This sees plenty going at 80mph up the hill, you usually get a flash from an approaching motorist if there is a camera van in the Parking lay-by.
