Is saddle brown leather a bad idea? E-Class coupe

I'm agonising over the colour of the interior of a E-Class coupe. I've decided on Hyacinth Red Designo for the exterior, and like the idea of something more interesting than a black interior, and have provisonally specified a Saddle Brown interior, which I can change if I'm quick.
I'd orginally wanted Emerald Green exterior, but that's been dropped now.
I can't find a car to look at with this combination - maybe that's telling me something?
Do I need to make an appointment with the taste police?

Buying or lease/hire/PCP? If former, suspect that you will take a hit at resale/trade-in. If latter, then go for it BUT make sure that the dash and door card colour(s) complements the seats, far too many MB interiors do not work as the colour and dash combo have not been thought through.

Sounds like a bizarre combo to me. If you're going for red I'd personally stick to a black interior or an off-white/parchment/ivory one. Probably the latter.I'd orginally wanted Emerald Green exterior, but that's been dropped now.

I'd say the same for a green exterior. Especially emerald green.

It's a lease, so any effect on residuals doesn't affect me.

But there are so few cars with leather (seems that 95% of cars have black artico), it's proving hard to find one with the exact combination.

It's also unusual to see the best engine specified without AMG Line, all UK cars have AMG Line as standard..
I would get the car you like. Many people buy new cars and spec it to a stranger (I mean spec it for resale in 2-4 years time).
Just get the car for you, I always have, I don’t have an eccentric taste so my cars always sell well. In your case I like the combination, just make sure trim choice goes with it. Much nicer than the plain stark black interiors. I had saddle brown with Estoril blue in my bmw and it was a great combo. Go with what you like.

I was attracted to the Saddle Brown interior after seeing it in a Emerald Green E-Class coupe, and tried to order that combination, but unfortunately that colour has been dropped for 2020. There are now no green colour options.I chose Hyacinth as that's my second choice colour, but I'm now getting a bit jittery about retaining the saddle brown.
Other than plain black leather, there's the option of red/black.

I have the Estate in Hyacinth Red - it's a really great colour! It's my first non black, silver or grey car since my Alfa 156 back in 1999.
I think the red & black interior would clash. the Hyacinth colour changes noticeably depending on the light from a really deep metallic red to almost a burnt orange in dull conditions.

That’s me, and I do have a rubellite red car with dark red roof and saddle brown leather. I like it a lot. I don’t think black would have worked as well! Hyacinth red is far brighter though, so I’m not convinced it would look as good...https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/threads/rubellite-red....
