Hi

Desperately need some help from experts out there.

Golf Mark 6 Passenger Side Front and Rear Doors / Windows and Mirror Dead. Happened over night out of the blue (well black) with no warning.

I have tried all the obvious, fuses engine / Car and all okay.
I have carried out a diagnostic read and the following codes are resident and cannot be cleared.
01333
01332
Relating to the Door Modules front and rear. No other codes are resident on CAN.

The issue being how does one open the doors which are safelocked to try and diagnose / fix the problem ?

Any help from those who may have come across the same problem and found a DIY solution.

Thanks

I don't know that car and I suppose you've already ruled out the obvious, but is there an external key on the passenger side?

Failing that I guess you'd need either a dealer or a locksmith to defeat the lock.

If there are no codes or errors...how do you know they are "safelocked" or whatever that means ?
For those modules...can they be reset or something ? Can the door actuators be operated via VCDS etc ?

On my dads Golf....the safelock message on screen was something to do with the handbrake not being applied when he parked.

Have you spoke to a VW dealer ? presumably there is a key for some of the doors ? Does it do anything ?

On the Mk5 you can get the rear door card off by removing the rear seat base (pull up hard at the front and then push backwards to release). That gives you enough room to work your way around and remove the fasteners and pop clips and push up the door trim.

Maybe you can get away with this on the Mk 6 too?

Weird that both front and rear doors stopped working together - did it blow the fuses, you said you replaced them. Did you check them again after replacing?
