Anyone watch the search for Dracula on last night? BBC2?
It ran the gamut from Shreck to Oldman.
Who is your fave and why?

Christopher Lee in the old hammer films was a great introduction to horror films as a kid but my favourite was Gary Oldman and his over the top performance in Coppola's version.

I can't decide between Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee. Not including Lee's follow up portrayals, due to him somehow forgetting how to speak.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to give someone with a voice like Lee's, playing Dracula, no lines, is a dick.

Willem Dafoe in "Shadow of the vampire" - one of the best Dracula / vampire movies IMO.

Have you seen "shadow of the vampire"? It's a film about the making of Nosferatu, in which Max Schreck is clearly more than a method actor...

I can remember the Louis Jourdan version from 1977 and he was very good in that. Christopher Lee is a very good one also.
