Water in footwell?

Is it a 5dr? If so, have a look along the inside of the cill to see if you can see where it's entering as it could be a defective door or window seal. Worth checking drain holes are clear in the rear door too.
If however it's a 3dr, I have no idea
Yes it is a 5 door, I have checked the door seals, drain holes etc all seem fine, any idea what else it could be?If however it's a 3dr, I have no idea

Is it the inner door membrane behind the door card? Water gets in through the scraper seal on the bottom of the window and usually runs down the membrane and out the bottom door drains. If it’s been disturbed before or the seal has perished that might be your culprit. You might be able to see witness/run marks under the door.
Has the car been parked facing uphill? Just wondering if the water is indeed coming from near the front and running along the floor pan to collect in the rear.

No not uphill only on a flat driveway. So should these door drains not be wet at all or have any water in them as I did notice on the inside door drain it was wet but was not dripping water out heavily when opened after rainfall?Has the car been parked facing uphill? Google about removing your carpet there, some cars you need to unbolt the front seat some not.
It's normally trim clips and pulling only required but check it out first. Then you can get to peeling away the carpet and soaking up the water and you'll see how much is there (it will have been probably leaking a long time as the carpet and backing can soak up a lot of water)
Leave it peeled back, if the focus floor (ridged cross beam) means it's definitely not coming from the front footwell then you are really only looking at the rear door/window as the issue. Hose against the door/window with no carpet should let you see the leak. Heard of people drawing chalk lines in places as then you can just wait and any water leaks will wash away the chalk.
