Any Surveyors or CV writers out there?
Discussion
Good morning all,
It's been a pretty turbulent start to 2020.
After a fantastic 2019 with a new job for me and my partner, it seems that a loss of three major projects means the implementation of the 'last in, first out' way of thinking.
I am a graduate building surveyor in Devon looking for a new position. I have begun my APC training too, self funded, as I am more than keen to get chartered. Sadly though, this can't be done without a job.
Would anyone be able to lend a hand with writing my CV, it's always been something I've been quite bad at.
Any help with anything, including job hunting tips, would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

Don't mean to have a go OP, so apologies in advance, but a surveyor of what? I get heartily fed up of people who don't even know what they do, when we were recruiting we always specifically put land surveyor in any job adverts or correspondence with recruitment agencies yet would get back applications from the million and one different types of surveyor all the time. I genuinely don't think anyone anywhere is a 'surveyor'.

Good morning again!
It's taken a while but I have a new job, starting on Monday as a grad surveyor! Local company, decent pay. Result!
Very excited if a little nervous but I can recommend the PHer who helped me with my CV.
I will be using hime next time I'm in the job market for sure.
