Morning,

Thinking of doing something a bit different this year, myself and a couple of friends are considering going to the Spa Classic 5-7th July, just wondered if anyone has been in previous years?

Looks to be a very full race / parade schedule across the Friday to Sunday with the 4h classic race Saturday evening, we are thinking of making it into a mini tour to get to and from Spa.

I have gone to the Spa24h race a few times and stayed in Malmedy, so I know the area, but seeing some bikes go through Eau Rouge ridden by people who know what they are doing seems like the perfect way to spend a few days.

I’m based over the border I. Germany and go to the bikers classic every year. Great event, you can wander pretty much everywhere ogling at awesome bikes.
Make sure you go on the parade lap on Saturday evening. About 10 euro to enter. You get a lap on the gp track then that’s followed by a lap on the full old course. Everything is eligible so you can be running next to old gp bikes or racing outfits along with every type of road bike possible.
The food in the paddock is a bit naff so we normally go up to the brassery above the f1 pits. 16euro but as it’s hot/cold buffet we went round 3 times last year.
The classic endurance paddock and race is cool. A good time to go out and visit the far reaches of the track to spectate and chill.

Also, this event is after this year going to be every two years not yearly. So if you are looking to go do it or it'll be a two year wait.
