Uploaded my CV to the usual sites, have had loads of phone calls this morning.. Spoke to one who got me my last job, and asked if I'd had any others or any interviews yet.

Do you speak to them all, or just one and see how they do? Part of me thinks, speak to them all and get a better chance of something.. Or are they all going to call the same companies and end up being bombarded with my details and go against me?

Thanks very much.

Speak to them all, but only some will do any work.
In the past I had a very good guy who got me a couple of very good roles, sadly he's retired now.

I've had loads of calls about my CV being on LinkedIn, and some ridiculous offers for contract working on things I've very little / no experience of. Just shows how few actually read what you do / have done, merely looking at your location.

Good luck!

That always puts me off the Agency. They're basically trying to find out who is recruiting so they can call them up and put forward other CVs, effectively reducing your chances. Now admittedly it's a dog-eat-dog world but it's just the sneaky underhand way that they do it which I find off-putting. If you ask them WHY they want to know it's "so they don't put your CV forward again for the same role" which is pure unadulterated BS.
