In Limp mode in a petrol Rav4 Toyota
Discussion
I have a 2001 petrol rav4 vvti and it shows no fault lights and has very low mileage for its age but has gone into limp mode, it used to only rarely go into it or drop in and out of power. Ive had it in the mechanics 3 times now, they did new sparks and leads the first time, new filters and oil change the second (excluding fuel filter for some reason thats not included in that service) then a new fuel filter and fuel pump. The car seemed to run better for a while then got worse and is now constantly in limp mode, it's been taken back to the mechanics where they said they would run a diagnosis on it but returned with nothing. After countless injectors cleaners and trying different octane fuels im here...... ive just checked all the fuses none damaged, tried swapping fuses and still none the wiser. I hope someone here might be able to help or has experienced the same thing. .. thanks in advance for any help.

New batterie, doesn't seem to lose charge, and between 1st and 3rd gear max 2500 revs very sluggish /low power so I presume limp mode..
It clearly isn't in "limp mode" as you would get warning lights.Have you had the fuel regulator checked?
You say you have cleaned the injectors, I assume you mean the stuff you put in the tank, it isn't very effective at best, have them out & checked properly.
Have you checked for air leaks in your inlet pipework?
