Damon Electric

anyone seen this / been following it?
looks good and appears to have v clever tech incl Tesla-like cameras and sensors
I also love the idea of electrically adjustable pegs, bars and screen for street and sport option, sort of 2 bikes in 1
still not sure of the wisdom of a quiet bike though
someone claims its built on an R1...I dont know. interesting technology if expensive
the claim is 200mph / 200 miles range / 200bhp

Not seen it. It's a well presented video and website... But it doesn't seem to give many details.
The biggest market for electric vehicles is clearly urban commuters, so I get the focus on gadgets, but I find the "hypersport" sporty focus a bit at odds with where these bikes sit personally. I mean it's bound to be very heavy.
Also, I'd personally I'd have thought the public still wanted to see a bike which actually worked as claimed before they worried about fancy unproven gizmos being nailed on to it.
One for the Xbox generation perhaps. Not for me.
