X8R M54 Vanos Kits

Can anybody recommend the X8R Vanos rebuild kits? Wondering how these compare to the Beisan system.

I've recently had good results with their Disa valve kit on my M54 2.5

Absolutely; used them on all 3 of my E39 530i motors with zero issues.

Depending how much of the VANOS you're rebuilding it might be worth considering a cheaper kit. I bought this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150803109377

Was pleased with the quality, but my VANOS units didn't need re-shimming to cure the rattle. I just reused the old bolts as well rather than using the cheap ones supplied.

Thanks for the replies.

Will probably go for seal & rattle kit, cost is minimal. I've got noisy liftera so it's hard to tell if I have a noisy Vanos.

I can see the kits also come with a VCG, might be ok, maybe OEM is best.
