Well well the usual great auctions he and Wogan hosted on R2 clearly didn’t happen in 2019 with only Rylan singathalong.

Anyway Virgin did a special meal with James Martin - not in Children in need week
Car fest still going
But now today they are doing the marathon package and it’s got all the usual backup folk.

Superb Chris. You draw in the big offerings and nice to see the charity getting the upside.

He pulls in the big bids too.

Well done Crazy Carrot Top smile.

Over a million listeners and today the show raised well over £100k for the top 10 to do the marathon all for charity. Great result

The last time I checked, his show had about as many listeners as Chris Moyles on Radio X.

Hardly justifies his £2million big ones, with no advertising.

Given it’s a commercial station his rate is utterly irrelevant to the public - it is if it’s BBC funded.

Anyway BBC R2 I used to listen to so had VFM out of it now I don’t listen to it at all so it’s less VFM and with over 1million fewer

Did you get too bored to finish your own post?

I like the ginger one. If he’s raised a million with only a million listeners then good work ginge.

If you don’t like him or what he does that’s no problem but you cannot deny the facts of what he has achieved (not for himself but for for the greater good).

How much do Sky pay Virgin for "sponsorship" of the CE Breakfast show?

No advertising but almost every 5th word is Sky!
