Late notice I know but anyone fancy a quick blast out ?

Usual meeting place , but 8.45 am instead , pick up at Heddon at 9.15 am.

Weather looks like it’ll be fine for all morning.

Up to five now , including a newbie with his new Vantage.

Gone well today.

I’ve returned home with a slow puncture.

Chesby is awaiting recovery after his V12 cut out .

Not one of our better trips.

Car now safely delivered to AM Newcastle.

Now awaiting the call tomorrow to find out what the fault is.

I’m mystified as to what is wrong - driving at 60 mph, the engine stopped, along with the dash, no coughing no spluttering, just stopped but the radio and other electrics were still working.

It probably thought life had come to an end at only 60mph and gave up lol.

Hopefully something easily solvable.

Update on the V12 Vantage S

When AM Newcastle plugged the car in to the diagnostics no fault was found, although the car had failed in exactly the same way for the technician whilst he was driving it into the workshop as it had for me.

They therefore went with with their experience and replaced the whole fuse box under warranty.

They’ve given it a road test (Chris, the service advisor drove it home on Monday night with my blessing) and the fault has not reappeared.

Hopefully that’s the end of the problem and I don’t have to ride shotgun with one of my colleagues next time we have a North East Runout.
