1) The good.

I took my Griff to Peninsula this weekend for one of there service break weekends. Richard the his guys worked magic, it now feels and handles like a completly new car!! Thanks Guys.

2) The bad.

Soneone has since hit my car in a car park and driven off without leaving any details. I heard it happen, but by the time I got to the car park they were gone. If I ever find out who it was (which I won't ) they will not be able to drive for some to come

So does anyone know of any good GRP repair places in the Bromley or SE London area?

3) The ugly

PR Wood Motorbodies, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex are often recommended.

Ian

Sorry to see whats happened, someone hit my Lexus outside work & caused @ £2k worth of damage..bless their cotton socks.
Hope you get it sorted without too much aggro. If the car is off the road for a while & you need a TVR fix give me a call & we'll go for a blat & a beer.

Nick,

the car is still on the road, but thanks for the offer...

OT: Nick, is the N Kent run on this weekend?

kevinday,

You can not see it very well from the photo (if at all) but there is a crack about 1cm into the outside of the wing. So I think they must have just caught it on the edge and shattered it in both directions.

Have you checked whether the car park has CCTV or not (or someone else has an overlooking camera)? Someone on here recently had the same happen and was able to use the car parks CCTV to find the culprit.

icamm,

No, unfortunatly not. It was only a small B&B so no CCTV, and 10pm so no one was about with a (vid)camera.

Thanks for thought though.

Hi Ian,

I'm very sorry to hear what has happened to your Griff!!!
If there is anything I can do to help out.....call me or mail me off line.

The person Adriam Blyth uses for bodywork is Tom Horsburgh (01428) 608255
I believe that David Batty also recommends his services.

Another place is Bee Gees, Mole Valley TVR use them I think. I don't have their number at hand unfortunately.

I hope you get the car sorted quickly and without any hassle.

O/T I believe the Kent meet is on for this Sunday. Are you going????

Leszek. (Black Sapphire Cerbera 4.5)

Is that related to Thames Valley Racing or Tower View Racing?
