Top quality meal in the capital

Visiting London for the weekend end of Feb. Where's a foodie must-go at the moment? Doesn't have to be expensive, that's not the main point... could go to £100 a head but would be great to have something special although not just needlessly w
ky.
I do know London a bit, but not up to date with new openings and so on.
thanks!

I like it here:

and I want to get a table here

If you like a steak, Maceillaio RC is very good and won't break the bank - https://www.macellaiorc.com/
Did Temper in Soho on NYE, it was fantastic, get a seat at the counter.

My kid swears by Murano, Angela Hartnett’s modern European place in Queen Street, Mayfair, and he knows his way round a wine list.
My go to place for years now has been Baltic, Blackfriars Road, by Southwark Underground Station, it has an Eastern European menu, and 40 odd, (maybe more), different vodkas.
The drop dead gorgeous Polish, Lithuanian, and Ukrainian waitresses don’t hurt either.
A hidden gem is German Gymnasium, an excellent place at Kings Cross/St.Pancras, it’s big, but the food and service make it a good choice.

One of the Shoryu restaraunts if you like japanese grub. I normally go to the one just off Picadilly.
Flat Iron for a steak, remarkably cheap but so good for the money. One just off Regent Street is the usual for me.
Bread Street Kitchen, whether you like Gordon Ramsay or not the Beef Wellington is unbelievably fine.

Wife and I had a lovely meal here in Nov: https://www.loscarlondon.com/
This place was one of the best meals I've ever had, if you enjoy Chinese / Japanese food

ky at the same time.Norma on Charlotte Street is great (Ben Tish's new gig after Saltyard)
Core (Clare Smyth - ex Head Chef of Ramsays 3 star's new restaurant)
Davies and Brook (Replaced Fera in the Dorchester)
Caractere (Emily Roux's new restaurant)
Depends on what you're after and where in London but they're all pretty safe bets.
Someone above mentioned Core by Clare Smyth. Probably my favourite in London (she was Ramsay's head chef in Chelsea) but you are struggling for 100 per head I think.
I love Ormer in the Fleming hotel in Mayfair - fantastic food and the hotel more low key than some of the more famous ones
Some of the Michelin places have lunch deals e.g. Pollen St Social, Hakkasan. Lauceston Place
A Wong near Victoria is great for Chinese / dim sum
For Italian - Locanda Locatelli in Marylebone
Launceston Place in Kensington
There are so many options I think you need to narrow it a bit more by cuisine or location

Had an amazing Thai dinner at Champor Champor by London Bridge this week - lamb shank massaman is just to die for. About £50 a head. Not a fancy restaurant and quite wacky, but food is superb.
Went there years ago, really enjoyed it, but I remember it as more Malay than Thai.Good shout though.
