Hi All,

A quick history - I'm currently on my 2nd PCH contract. The first deal was for 24 months and VWFS offered me a pretty competitive price to buy the car - but I decided not to take them up on it for various reasons.

Based on the above I've taken a somewhat educated gamble and entered into a new 3 year PCH deal with the sole intention of buying the car at the end of the term. Hence adding a few options and choosing the car rather than the deal... It's VWFS again - I really don't anticipate any issues doing this. The deal was much cheaper than PCP over the term before you ask! smile

However - recently my circumstances have changed and I'm now routinely adding on quite a few miles which will take me over the 8000pa. Excess is 9.6ppm.

If I adjust the excess mileage on the contract itself then I'll probably get a better deal than 9.6ppm overall, plus the expected mileage at end of the term will be higher and the valuation therefore lower.....

Or just keep quiet about the whole thing and pay VWFS whatever their valuation of my car based on 24,000 miles is, even though the car will have a higher mileage by then.

Any thoughts?
Cheers!
