If you like it why worry what anyone else thinks?
Anyway it looks like a standard 3 series.

I'd be more worried about the dealer and car history than looking like a boy racer. Regardless, 6 cylinders = yes, 4 = meh...

Looks quite smart to me, m sport shadow edition.

But who cares what strangers think smile

I would be asking why it’s out of the dealer network (looks a bit ‘new’ to me) and why it’s not been taxed since June 2019. But that’s just from googling, might be rubbish.

Those alloys look a bit Halfords to my eyes.

But I have always disliked the diamond cut finish so must just not be cool any more, since they're everywhere.

I also reckon black on black is a bit played out.

Much smarter.

Looks like some numpty has put the front wheels on the back and vice versa.

My favourite colour combo for the F30, lovely. Agreed about black on black too.

They're staggered wheels those 704M's - 8x19 ET36 on the front, 8.5x19 ET47 on the rear. Aluminati is suggesting they're on the wrong axles.

That particular dealer has had it advertised on Autotrader since October, but it could easily have been knocking about in the trade for a while before that. It's low mileage (19000), the wheels are kerbed & there's a bit of tyre damage visible too. Nice spec inside, but as to what's standard/optional, I have no idea. It has heated front seats, wide nav screen, full beam assist. The dealer says it has split fold rear seats but I'm not convinced. Price-wise it's ok for the mileage, but I've seen cleaner examples.

Thanks for reply. That’s really helpful - I’m very tempted on it. Are you able to tell if the seats fold from this picture ? - the dealer has said to me it is but will question it again tomorrow as potential deal breaker.

I live quite far away (3 1/2 hours) so trying to dig out as much info as possible possible before I go up and see it..

Can you get the VIN from the dealer. There are places you could get the build sheet (like https://www.bmwvincheck.com/vin/E619819)

Doesn't look like a boy racer car.

You do however assume that any Black BMW's with tinted windows is being driven by an urban youth type. I would personally go for a different colour to meet your smart and professional objective, that blue one looks far better.

Doesn’t look like a boy racer car...it’s not covered in M Performance exterior parts.

At first glance they do look like the folding seats. The non-folding ones appear to have a one-piece backrest, so the lower piece (with isofix slots) wouldn't be there. There are a couple of ways to find out for definite though - a picture of the boot - you could see the split in the seats and the release handles. Also (and I strongly advise you to do this) get the last 7 digits of the VIN, and put them into mdecoder.com. That will give you the build sheet. The folding seats are option S465A from memory.
