Hi,

My wife and I have recently had a baby boy, so I'm currently looking to exchange my current vehicle (Jaguar XE) for something a little larger as the XE isn't particularly practical as a family car (not great boot size, rear leg space etc). I'm currently halfway through a 3-year PCP agreement on my XE.

I've found some good deals on various leasing websites for a number of SUV's but the few leasing companies I'm approached so far won't part-exchange on my current car.

Are there any reputable leasing companies out there that are able to offer a part-exchange on my current (financed) vehicle? Would be interested in hearing about them if so.

Thanks!

I think your chances of finding one are almost nil.

Maybe a lease through a main dealer might allow this but I don’t think any brokers or leasing companies will do this.

I doubt it too.

You should try something like Wizzle - traders bid on your car, you should get similar money to part exchanging it, and they can deal with the finance side of things.

Main dealer will do this.... we were going to do this part exchanging an Outlander PHEV against a Ranger Wildtrack.... If there is more equity in your XE than the initial deposit, they give you a cheque for the difference.

When we got our i3 in 2017 (on a business lease) the BMW dealer (Halliwell Jones Warrington) we got the i3 from were more than happy to buy our privately owned DS4 off us for more than WBAC had offered. Not a part ex I know but it had the desired result of the DS4 being sold, us not having the hassle of trying to sell it privately etc and them only taking the DS4 on the day we picked up the i3.
