I must confess that last year I was professionally embroiled in a dispute about several somewhat stinky cats, an old sofa, and a rusty bike. This dispute involved a police force, a descendant of the man who led the charge of the Light Brigade, and three firms of lawyers, two of them global firms. For some reason, I did not include the case in the presentation that I made for inclusion in the legal directory rankings for last year.

The invoices for this must have made fascinating reading
Please share with us how you know about the emotional disposition of the lawyers. I am always amazed by the spying/psionic/insight powers of PH'ers, and am glad to learn how these powers work.
The Mirror report shows that, alas, the years since 2004 have not been kind to the gardener. (cf pics in the Standard and Mirror articles). Heck, they ain't done me many favours either (I will spare you the photos).

You appear to misunderstand. The cat is a cat and can do what it likes, but the gardener, who is not a cat, has made some promises to the opposing party, and possibly to the court as well, not to do some stuff. The case looks loony enough for there to be a return to the court at some point, involving an allegation that the gardener has not kept to her promises.
I wonder if supercilious was the word that you were looking for. Inigo de Montoya thinks perhaps not.
