Door peephole cams?

After dealing with many security issues in our building's common areas I'm looking to get hold of a cam to replace the existing optical spy hole in our door. Would like something with a wide angle lens, night vision, motion detection and recording functionality. I'm not so concerned with seeing who is at the door when I'm home, I'm more concerned with being aware of what's going on at the door and my outside hallway when I'm not there or when we're asleep!

Does anyone have an experience of these? AliExpress, Ebay etc. are full of them but it's always good to hear some personal views. Thanks!

Can't comment on the cheap jobbies but the ring door view cam works in the manner you have suggested.
