Industrial estate in Stroud. Crime scene

Gloucester police have closed down Ryeford industrial estate in Stroud, Wondered what would trigger something like this?
Not a huge estate but probably 30 to 50 businesses affected and unable to enter due to crime scene tape across the entrance.

Odd, there is nothing on Stroud police website/twitter and on a Sunday you'd not expect any of the busoness to be open. Il be driving past there at 9pm so if I see anything il update this..

There is a classic car restorer in the estate who usually leaves a few interesting cars outside behind 2 locked gates... One is a Ferrari testorrosa. Maybe a burglary gone wrong?

or a crime going on with the crims putting the police crime tape to block the entrance so they can do their crime in peace?

We run a SMART repair and valeting business on Ryeford Industrial Estate. We spoke to the young copper guarding the entrance yesterday morning. He said the whole estate was a crime scene as far as the cricket club and wouldn't let us access our unit. He said it wasn't an ongoing incident, but something that had occurred overnight. We haven't been able to find out anything more...
For the record, I've never seen a vehicle restoration company or a Testarossa on the estate!

interesting situation a few years ago when we wondered why a long motorway slip was closed off with some random cones.

Turns out it was the geezers in a van who rammed a "po" van to try and rob it in a secluded location. Unfortunately when they rammed it, it set on fire so it all fell apart for them

Was taken down quite quickly, there was a do on at the cricket club and a sexual assault reported, not sure if cricket club involved.
I know a few people who were at the do and they didn't see/hear anything.
Anyhow mystery solved.
