As per previous threads, I’m looking for a family car, and trying to work out which way to go. I don’t want to drop more than about £10k per year in depreciation, but beyond that and favoriting a saloon or estate all that I really want is “ very nice”. I looked at a Golf R estate last weekend, but the interior was a bit poor, and I do like a nice view from the driving seat.

Looking away for a bit from outright “sporty” cars, I’ve started looking at something like a BMW M760, a Bentley Mulsanne Speed or an Audi S8. Has anyone owned any of these, or is anyone able to offer any advice?

Is there anything else Similar that I should be looking at.

Edited to add, the reason to look away from M3, RS4 etc is for a bit more luxury and space for passengers. I quite like things like airline seats or a fridge.

M340 Touring looks a compelling family car. Great colour scheme on this one too.

That’s nice, but I think I want to go up a class for the better room in the back. If I was going to go with a three series I’d likely get the M3 again.

I should have said, I’ll edit my opening post.

That looks lovely.

Thanks, I’ll take a proper look.
